Terms of Service

Who we are

Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics is a Shopify app provided by Shoply Apps ("we", "us"), founded by Ignas Pilybas and Romas Gabdrafikas in Lithuania. Shoply Apps is being registered as a Lithuanian company; until then, the two founders provide the app.

By installing or using Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics, you (the store owner, or the person installing it for the store) agree to these terms. You also remain bound by Shopify's Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't install the app, or uninstall it.

What the app does, and what you're responsible for

Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics scans your product catalog and points out possible problems, such as prices below cost, missing costs, stock gaps and weak descriptions. It suggests fixes and, when you ask, applies them.

The app's findings, money estimates and suggestions are guidance only. They are based on the data in your store, which may be incomplete or out of date. You decide what to change: check prices, costs and descriptions before you save them, and you remain responsible for your store, your prices and what you sell.

Price and optional tips

Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics is free to install, and all features are included at no charge.

You can choose to leave a one-time tip of $1 to $500 to support development. Tips are charged through Shopify billing and appear on your Shopify invoice. A tip is voluntary, unlocks nothing and is not refundable, except where the law or Shopify's billing rules require a refund.

If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will tell you in advance. Shopify will ask you to approve any subscription before you are charged; nothing is charged automatically.

Changes the app makes to your store

Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics only changes your products when you or a staff member you allow asks it to: a quick fix, Fix all, an Excel import or an Undo. You see a preview before bulk changes are saved. Scans only read your store.

Every change is recorded in Change history for 365 days and can be undone from there, unless the value was changed again since. If a value changed in Shopify after you prepared a change, the app skips it rather than overwrite it. We recommend checking the preview carefully, especially for large price changes.

Acceptable use

Use Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics only for stores you are allowed to manage. Don't try to access other stores' data, overload or disrupt the app, get around its limits or permissions, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer it. We may suspend access for a store that breaks these terms or Shopify's rules.

Your data and privacy

Your store's data stays yours. We use it only to run Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics for your store, as described in our Privacy Policy. When you uninstall the app, we delete your store's data straight away.

Availability, no warranty and limits of liability

We work to keep Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics running and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". It may sometimes be unavailable, slow or wrong, for example when Shopify is down or changes how it works. We don't promise that every problem in your catalog will be found, or that a fix will increase your sales or profit.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the tips you paid in the 12 months before the claim or 100 euros. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intentional harm or gross negligence, or any right that cannot be limited by law.

Ending use, changes and contact

Stopping: you can stop using Shoply: Item Scan & Analytics at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We may stop offering the app; if we do, we will tell you at least 30 days before, where we can.

Changes to these terms: we will post any change on this page with a new date, and tell you in the app or by email before an important change applies. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.

Law: these terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania. Disputes go to the courts of Lithuania, unless the law of your country gives you the right to go to your local courts.
